IP Change Easy

Each computer that connects to the Internet or just a local network has a unique IP. This IP address changes when travelling from home to work, for example, as each has its own network. At home, you may obtain your network settings automatically from a server, while at work you may need to enter them manually. This operation may be very annoying and inconvenient, especially if you have to change the IP settings over and over again.

Fortunately, there is a simple solution for changing the IP configuration using a single mouse click. I am talking about the IP Change Easy application, a program which was specially designed for changing your network configuration using various profiles. In this way, you won't need to enter the new IP address manually and you will save a lot of time and effort.

After installing and launching the application, the user will just need to add a new network profile to the program's interface. Each profile includes the computer IP address, subnet mask, gateway and so on. Besides that, a profile can also contain proxy settings, if the network requires them. An unlimited number of network profiles can be created, each containing its own IP settings. For making it easier to enter network details, the user can load them from the current local area network settings.

After the profiles are created, the user can apply anyone of them using a single mouse click or he can create a profile shortcut on the desktop, for applying it more easily. Besides that, the program settings can be exported to a file, for reusing them in case the application is re-installed. Advanced users can also take advantage of the MAC feature, which allows changing the MAC address of the network card for each profile.
